11-National Head Coach

Tabitha McCray

My competitive volleyball experience began at Owasso High School.  There, I also played club volleyball for team Tulsa. My primary positions were middle and outside hitter.

I graduated in 2006, and chose to attend the University of Oklahoma, where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. Throughout my time there, I participated in coed, and sand volleyball.  I graduated in 2012, and accepted a first grade teaching position in the mid-del district. I taught at the elementary level for six years. In my six years of teaching, I coached 4th and 5th grade volleyball.  Under my leadership, teams went undefeated for consecutive years.  I also coached flag football, track, and boys basketball.

I coached the 12 Diamonds  Premier club team from 2015-2016. I decided to step away shortly after getting married to my best friend Michael.  Soon after we were blessed with a sweet baby boy named Lincoln, who is the light of our lives.

My coaching technique is competitive, high-intensity, and disciplined. I believe in always pushing each individual to be the best they can be. As a team, we will have goals, and we will not be satisfied until we have reached all of them.
