11-National Assistant Coach
Sarah Jekel graduated from Mount St. Mary’s High School in 2015 where she was the starting setter for 4 years. She played club volleyball from the ages of 10-18. In her career, Sarah was a state champion, state tournament MVP, all conference team 4 years in a row, All State tournament team, and all-tournament team in every tournament played. After high school she went on to be a student at the University of Central Oklahoma, where she graduated with a professional media degree in 2019. Throughout college she spent much of her time giving private volleyball lessons, and coaching for Oklahoma City Volleyball Academy.
Starting volleyball at a very young age, Sarah understands the commitment and dedication it takes to become top notch player. She is excited to share her love of them game with girls who have only scratched the surface of their journey with volleyball. Sarah specialized is setting, but has experience in most positions on the court. The most important thing to her is that she is not only able to help girls become better volleyball players on the court, but also better people off the court.
