Megan is excited to be moving up to be the 16UA Assistant Coach after having a terrific season with 12UA in 2020-2021. Megan started playing competitive volleyball at the age of six. Megan attended Southmoore High School where she was a varsity four year starter. In 2019, she was selected to play as a OCA All State player. Megan also played at Charge on the UA teams 15-18’s. She then went on to play volleyball as a setter at Lees McRae College in North Carolina. Megan made her way back home to focus on her education to be a pediatric nurse.

 

Megan has seven siblings- Derek, Nick, Alex, Kody, Tanner, Kayla, and Megan. Her siblings are involved in the volleyball community as well. Derek coaches at Charge and is the Head Coach at Wagoner High School. Nick is currently coaching volleyball at Wichita State University. Tanner coaches for Charge and is assisting at Newman University this fall. Kayla is currently in her senior season as a four year starter at Tartleton State University.

 

Megan is the daughter of Jay and Janet Brannon. Janet is the 11 UA coach and the Director of Coaching for the South teams at Charge. Jay is on the Board for Charge.
