Madelyn Pennington is joining Charge for her first season. She has coached five seasons of club volleyball, one school season of junior high volleyball, and is currently the JV/Assistant coach at Southwest Covenant School. 

Maddie graduated from Christian Heritage Academy in 2018, winning four volleyball state championships in her time there. She was a setter and coached by her father, Heath Kufahl. 

Maddie got married to spouse Chapman Pennington in June of 2022, and graduated in May of 2022 from OBU with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology: Pre-Counseling. She is currently working towards her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at OBU. Maddie has a passion for coaching and is excited to be at Charge for the upcoming season and to be coaching alongside her dad.
