15-American Head Coach
Kayla is entering her 3rd year as a head coach for Charge. She has been a part of volleyball for over 10 years and was the 12-American and 13-Regional South Head Coach previously. During her high school career at Southmoore; she received four varsity letter awards, an honorable mention for The Oklahoman’s All-City Volleyball team in 2014 as a senior, and won “most valuable player” at the end of the season her senior year. Kayla was also a part of the Southmoore volleyball team that won their regional tournament and made it to state for the first time in Moore Public School history in 2013 as a junior. She also played club at Oklahoma Edge for 5 years.
After graduating high school in 2015, Kayla went on to play at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma for a season, then transferring to Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas for her last season of college volleyball. She is now fully devoted to school at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Communications.
Kayla’s coaching experience started in high school where she volunteered at several youth leagues throughout the summer with boys and girls, ages 6-11. She volunteered at these youth leagues all four years at Southmoore. She also coached the 12 American team in 2018-19 and 13 Regional team for the ’17- ’18 season with Charge.
