Erica Jensik

Erica is entering her 2nd year coaching with the Oklahoma Charge. She started her coaching career at Kansas State University where she played on their club team and helped coach her fellow teammates. From there she moved to Oklahoma with her family and obtained a coaching position at Mustang High School as their Head Junior Varsity coach and then headed the Volleyball program at Mustang Central Middle School for a year. Her first year with Charge she was the head coach for the West teams and coached the 15-1’s. She is very excited to move up to the West 16-1’s Head Coach position this coming season.

Erica helped assist at Stellar Volleyball camps with Stellar Volleyball owner Kyle Robinson a former USA Men’s volleyball player and Assistant coach at University of Oklahoma, and his wife who was a former Michigan State player and USA Women’s volleyball player. While working with them she learned many techniques used by some of the top coaches in the Nation and focuses on teaching those same skills to her club players.

Erica grew up playing club in Kansas City and for her high school where she made two trips to the state tournament and coming in 1st and 2nd. She was named Kansas 1st team her senior year and 2nd team her Junior year. She continued playing at Kansas State on their club team during college.  Many of her coaching methods follow those that she grew up with in Kansas and look to teach her girls a very fast paced and multiple hitting combination type of offense.
