Andy returns to Charge Tulsa as the 16UA Head Coach once again. Andy has a decade of club coaching experience in Tulsa with multiple USAV Girls Juniors Nationals appearances. His team last season qualified for USAV Nationals at the OKRVA Regional Tournament and also had a top 10 finish at the Windy City National Qualifier in Chicago. Andy spent the 2020 high school season as the Head Coach of the Freshman team at Glenpool and was a varsity assistant that helped lead Glenpool to a state tournament appearance. In 2021, Andy brought boys volleyball back to Jenks and is the Head Coach of the Boys program. In the inaugural season, Andy lead the boys team to a state tournament tournament appearance.

 

Growing up, Andy played club volleyball in the Tulsa area and played middle. Andy has been married to his wife Tricia for 11 years and they met playing volleyball at The University of Tulsa. Andy graduated from TU in 2011 with a degree in petroleum engineering and currently works in the oil and gas industry in Tulsa. Andy and Tricia have two kids, Addisyn (6) and Wyatt (2).

 

Andy is looking forward to getting Charge East rolling and providing opportunities for girls to learn on and off the court.
